Program The Country for the Future (CFF — concluded)

Supports commercialization of new products and services in Czech industry through ministry-backed innovation grants.

The Country for the Future was the ministry's innovation-support program for companies bringing new products and services to market. Its subprogram Inovace do praxe ran from 2020 to 2025, and it sat under the Czech industrial ministry's wider research and innovation portfolio rather than a separate delivery agency. The fifth public call, FX05, was the final cycle. The ministry approved the change in June 2025, no further calls are planned, and active grants from the final round can still run through 31 December 2026. The route used grant funding for Czech companies, with project timing tied to the published start window and completion deadline. That makes CFF a closed route rather than an open competition. It is now chiefly useful as a reference point for companies that tracked the last round and for applicants comparing it with TWIST, which took over the ministry's innovation agenda. The program's practical value lay in helping firms commercialize innovations, not in long-run institutional support.
