Teams advance through three stages: a 1-minute video pitch and short summary, then a 5-minute pitch with a business plan, then a 15-minute live final pitch on Duquesne's campus. Up to five finalists split cash prizes from $5,000 to $30,000, up to 15 semi-finalists each get a $1,000 grant, and the top three finalists also receive free legal help, consulting hours, and funding-strategy advisement.
