Direct Micro-enterprise Loans

Funds Egyptian micro enterprises with subsidized direct loan finance for early growth.

MSMEDA's Direct Micro-enterprise Loans are a national lending product for Egyptian micro-enterprises, issued through the agency's own branch network in all governorates. The route serves individuals and micro-enterprises in production, service, and commercial sectors, and it sits alongside training and advisory support rather than replacing them. The loan cap is EGP 200,000 per project, priced at a 5% fixed annual decreasing rate with a maximum tenor of five years. Applicants need company registration documents, owner identification, tax and social insurance certificates, three years of financial statements for existing businesses, a feasibility study, and a business growth plan. The product is a loan, so principal is repayable. This is the right route for borrowers who can service debt and have a clear operating plan. Youth and women have been priority segments, and the wider MSMEDA portfolio has pushed financing and training across Egypt since 2022, so the strongest applications are usually those with a real working need, clean paperwork, and a near-term use for capital.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
