EIT Manufacturing BoostUp! Competition
Administers technology startup teams in United States to build innovation work toward measurable commercialization outcomes.
EIT Manufacturing BoostUp! was EIT Manufacturing's pan-European startup competition for manufacturing innovation. EIT Manufacturing ASBL ceased operations on 10 April 2026, so the program is now a closed legacy route with no further cycles planned. When active, it offered cash prizes up to €20,000 in standard editions and up to €50,000 in Bridge editions, together with business support. The program targeted European companies in advanced manufacturing, typically with a prototype and pilot evidence already in hand, and it gave a women-led bonus. The annual cadence and English-language application were part of a competition format rather than a large open grant call. The strongest fit was a venture that could show a working product, a credible customer use case, and enough traction to be judged on commercial promise rather than pure research. Because the program is wound down, it now matters mainly as a reference point for how EIT Manufacturing used prize-style support to push promising manufacturing startups toward market entry.
