Business Finland Sprint Grant
Funds Finnish innovators with rapid sprint support from concept to first market demonstration.
Business Finland's Sprint Grant 2026 is a fixed-term route for small Finnish companies pursuing rapid international growth. It replaced the older continuous Tempo and YIC calls during the 2026 funding window. The grant is fixed at EUR 100,000, runs on a rolling basis from 2 March to 31 August 2026, and is available to Finnish limited-liability companies with fewer than 50 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total under EUR 10 million. Applicants also need at least EUR 50,000 in equity investment, a minimum team of two committed people working in Finland, an advisory appointment before filing, and funding that covers up to 75% of project costs. The strongest fit is a company that already has a plausible export plan and can use the fixed grant as a fast execution tool rather than a long research program. It sits in the same policy lane as Business Finland's other small-company growth routes, so applications should look commercially grounded and ready for near-term international expansion.
