Supports French innovation projects in health, climate, and industry through Bpifrance routes.

BpifranceFranceGrant

The BPI France i-Nov Concours d'Innovation sits under Bpifrance and is part of the France 2030 innovation competition run with ADEME. It is built to back high-potential innovation projects that can strengthen the French economy across digital, health, transport, and energy or environmental work. The program provides grants from €500,000 to €5 million, with a median actual award of €1.5 million. It is open only to for-profit French SMEs, expects TRL 3 to 7 projects, and requires 40% match funding. The projects are meant to stay mono-partner, and the same project cannot stack the route with another award. The 14th wave closed in October 2024. The best fit is a French SME with a defined innovation block, a credible path to implementation, and a project size that sits in the €1 million to €5 million cost band. The route rewards projects that already have technical depth, a clear market case, and enough operating discipline to move from development into delivery.
