French Tech Emergence Grant (Bourse French Tech Emergence)
Offers France-based early deeptech startup support for first-time ventures with evidence-rich development plans.
Bourse French Tech Emergence sits under Bpifrance as an early deeptech grant for companies registered in France for less than one year. It targets startups that can show a project qualifying under the Bpifrance Deeptech referential, so the emphasis is on strong technical content rather than generic innovation. The programme is rolling and has no published closing date. Support can reach 90,000 euros and can cover up to 50 percent of eligible costs, or up to 70 percent depending on the company category. The duration is up to 12 months and can extend to 18 months under conditions, with payment in two tranches and no application fees. The aid is funded by the state through PIA4 or the Fonds pour l'Innovation et l'Industrie. This grant is best suited to very young deeptech teams that need an early maturation or validation phase before a larger financing step. It sits alongside Bourse French Tech and Aide au Développement Deeptech in Bpifrance's deeptech ladder, so applicants benefit when they can show a clear technical milestone and a disciplined plan for moving from concept to first validation.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
