Pionniers de l'Intelligence Artificielle is a France 2030 AI R&D call run by Bpifrance for projects with clear application impact. The program is organized as a phased competition, and each stage requires a fresh selection rather than automatic passage. It spans industrial design and production, health, ecological transition, and security. Phase 1 is funded at 100% grant. Later phases are capped at 50% grant for enterprises and 100% for research organizations, with applications handled through three routes: a generic Bpifrance track, an industrial partnerships track run with Agence de programmes Numérique and Inria, and a startup-creation track on the same network. The call used relay dates in November 2025, March 2026, and June 2026. This route suits teams that can show an AI project with both technical ambition and a specific operational domain.
