France i-Démo
Supports French industrial and service firms with demonstrator-backed national innovation funding pathways.
France 2030 i-Démo sits under Bpifrance as a France 2030 call for structurally important R&D and innovation projects. It is aimed at industrial and service businesses that can create value, strengthen competitiveness, and support the energy, ecological, and digital transitions. The program offers grants from €1.5 million to €30 million, with a median actual award of €5 million. It is open to French entities with for-profit status, expects TRL 5 to 9 projects, and requires 40% match funding. Single-company projects need at least €2 million in eligible spend, while collaborative projects need at least €4 million and can include up to six partners. The 2026 calendar includes four relays, ending on 9 September 2026. This route suits larger demonstrator projects that are already past proof-of-concept and need a public co-financier for industrial scale-up. The strongest applications are the ones that can show a clear market, a credible deployment chain, and enough technical maturity to move from development into an industrial or service launch.
