Consortia submit a Research and Innovation Action proposal by the single-stage deadline; the EU's own Joint Research Centre may join the funded consortium, and proposals are encouraged to draw on the SHARE research infrastructure for social-science data. Costs are paid as a lump sum agreed at grant signature, and the Commission expects to fund three projects from this topic's budget.
