Around three grants of roughly EUR 5 million each are expected. Proposals must address at least five of seven listed aspects, and the Commission will prioritise a portfolio of top-ranked proposals that collectively cover the different European sea basins (Atlantic, Baltic, Black Sea, North Sea and Mediterranean) rather than funding by ranking alone.
