Developing agroecology living labs and lighthouses for climate action under the FNSSA partnership

Funds an AU-EU research consortium to set up agroecology test-and-demonstration sites (living labs and lighthouses) across Africa.

The European Commission expects to fund two Research and Innovation Action projects, paid as a lump sum, through a two-stage submission process. Consortia can pass on up to 30% of their EU funding as smaller grants to researchers, farmers and advisors who help run the living labs. A short outline proposal came first, with only successful applicants invited to submit a full proposal at stage two.
