RIIM Competition (RIIM Kompetisi)

RIIM Kompetisi is BRIN’s flagship externally-led competitive grant stream for Indonesian research teams. Principal Investigators are required to hold a doctoral (S3) degree and be affiliated with an eligible Indonesian institution such as a university, business, civil organisation, government body, or private research institute. Research themes cover food security, health, energy, aviation, space, environment, electronics, maritime, social sciences, and humanities, with funding rounds grouped into regular annual cycles. Applications are accepted in two annual batches (one in April and one in July), disbursement is split by size threshold, and the mechanism is grant-based for organisational teams. Strong proposals are those that are methodologically sound across their chosen field and show deliverable outcomes for the selected RIIM cycle.
