Invests in high-potential Irish startups through Enterprise Ireland's HPSU Fund on a co-investment model with private capital.

Enterprise IrelandIrelandEquity

Enterprise Ireland's Innovative HPSU Fund is the equity route for High Potential Start-Up companies that are aiming to grow quickly from an Irish base. It sits under Enterprise Ireland's broader support stack and is tied to the HPSU classification that unlocks later supports such as PhDStart and IPP at HPSU rates. The fund co-invests up to €1.2 million alongside private capital on a pari passu basis. The target company is an Irish start-up with the potential to employ more than ten people or reach more than €1 million in sales within three years. The programme is aimed at for-profit companies registered and operating in Ireland; it is not a grant and it is not open to individuals or non-profits. This is the right route for founders who can already show investor readiness and who want state-backed equity to complement private money. Access is rolling, so the practical test is whether the company can satisfy HPSU approval and then keep moving against its business plan. For applicants, the signal is straightforward: the company should look like a scalable export business, not a local lifestyle venture.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
