UCD VentureLaunch Accelerator

VentureLaunch is NovaUCD's annual accelerator for UCD researchers who want to commercialise UCD intellectual property into sustainable, profitable ventures. Up to seven projects participate each year, screened by UCD's Knowledge Transfer team and selected by the VentureLaunch Programme Board. The programme delivers seven 4-hour workshops from October to November covering Business Model Canvas, marketing, finance, sales, and investor pitching. The overall winner at the annual showcase event receives EUR 10,000 in cash seed money and an additional EUR 20,000 in professional services.
