Israel IIA Startup Fund Seed

Funds Israeli startups through seed pathways as part of national innovation policy implementation.

Israel Innovation AuthorityIsraelRoyalty-back

Israel IIA Startup Fund Seed is the Israel Innovation Authority's royalty-backed seed route for Israeli-registered companies. It sits inside a federal innovation system that backs deep-tech and broader technology startups, and the scheme is open on a rolling basis. The program covers up to 50% of a seed round and can reach NIS 5 million, with a 10% uplift for companies in the periphery. The median award is NIS 800,000. Eligibility is narrow: the applicant must be for-profit, Israeli registered, deeptech or any sector, and working at TRL 2-4. The same project cannot be stacked with another award. The fit is strongest for early teams that need non-dilutive capital tied to a seed round rather than a broad research grant. Because the instrument is royalty-backed rather than a standard grant, applicants should expect a commercialization path, a matching-capital requirement, and a proposal that can move quickly from concept to prototype and market validation.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
