Fuel & Electricity Efficiency Track (Directive 4.82)
Invests capital grant for industrial fuel conversion and electricity efficiency projects.
Fuel and Electricity Efficiency Track 4.82 is Israel's industrial energy-efficiency grant route. It is run by the Investment Authority at the Ministry of Economy and Industry with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and it is part of the government response to the carbon tax framework. The route targets industrial projects that cut fuel use or reduce electricity consumption. The program offers grants of 25% to 50% of eligible investment, up to NIS 3.5 million per factory, from a NIS 300 million pool spread over three years. Track A backs fuel conversion projects such as electricity, hydrogen, compressed natural gas, or natural gas, while Track B backs efficiency upgrades and equipment replacement. The 2026 call widened access to sectors such as cold storage, industrial laundries, institutional catering, waste treatment, and selected mining and quarrying activities, and applicants above NIS 400 million in turnover are ineligible. The application carries a NIS 500 fee. This is a good fit for companies with a measurable energy-saving project and the financial records to support a competitive application. The strongest submissions show a direct link between the capital spend and emissions reduction, and they stay within the industrial, turnover, and documentation rules. Applications are competitive and the route uses an annual call cycle, so timing and engineering detail matter.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
