Applicants submit a proposal through the online portal before the round's deadline; selected applicants get to pitch to the iDEX grand jury, facilitated by the Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO) and its partner incubators. Winners qualify for grants and investment support, with rounds run periodically throughout the year and awards reaching up to ₹1.5 crore.
