Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH)

Offers SAMRIDH to match Indian tech startups with accelerators for growth capital, market access, and mentoring.

Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) sits under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology through MeitY Startup Hub. Launched in August 2021, it is MeitY's commercialization route for Indian tech product startups that are ready to scale with accelerator support and matched capital. The program offers matching investment of up to INR 40 lakh per startup, delivered through empanelled accelerators in cohorts. Eligibility requires an Indian private limited company under the Companies Act, 2013, at least 51% Indian shareholding, Indian-citizen founders or applicants, and a product-oriented technology business rather than a services model. The accelerator layer typically runs six-month customized programs with mentorship, market connect, investor connect, and global exposure. SAMRIDH is strongest for founders who already have a clear product, a credible path to customers, and a matching cheque that can unlock the government's contribution. C-CAMP's digital health accelerator shows how the scheme is used in practice: the public money is paired with sector-specific guidance, and the winning profile is a team that can turn product ambition into a commercial plan with equity commitment and disciplined execution.
