Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN) fast-tracks commercialisation of academic research in AI (including Generative AI), semiconductor technology, quantum computing, bioengineering, healthtech, biotechnology, and synthetic biology. Launched in 2024, it builds a global network of innovation Centers of Excellence (WIN-CoEs) hosted at elite Indian institutions. Each CoE receives up to US $1 million annually. Phase 2 expands via a joint partnership with AICTE covering 13 Innovation Centers and 100+ higher-education institutes, with US $10 million additional annual investment. Projects are selected by a national jury of experts.
