Infrastructure Program for Drug Discovery Seeds Development
Provides researchers and academic institutions through Drug Discovery Seeds Infrastructure, helping them build shared discovery ecosystems.
This project enhances the Drug Discovery Support Network by organically connecting private business resources, Academic Research Organization (ARO) functions, and other national entities that contribute to drug discovery research. The platform is designed to accelerate research and development for creating innovative new drugs and to improve the practical-application success rate of academia-originated seeds. The program operates under the Division of Strategic Planning and Evaluation within the Department of Innovative Drug Discovery and Development (iD3). Contact is via id3desk@amed.go.jp. The page was last updated June 2018, suggesting this is a long-running infrastructure mandate rather than a competitively solicited grant round.
No upcoming rounds verified. Cadence: Rolling.
