KHIDI Medical Device Industry Promotion
Supports Korean medical-device companies through certification, innovation designation, and global expansion assistance.
KHIDI runs the comprehensive medical-device industry promotion programs implementing the Act on the Development of the Medical Device Industry and Support for Innovative Medical Devices. Activities include certification of innovative medical-device manufacturers, classification and designation programs for innovative medical devices, and operation of a One-Stop Service Center for the medical device industry. The program supports global expansion of Korean medical-device companies through marketing assistance, overseas authorization support, and ecosystem-building. Notable past outcomes include L'DISQ percutaneous disc decompression, Hi3-1 multiplex viral diagnostics, and NOVOSIS injection-type bone graft.
