International Joint R&D Program
Funds two-phase international joint research for Korean small businesses with overseas partners.
TIPA's International Joint R&D Program runs in two phases. Phase 1 (seed) provides KRW 110M for Korean SMEs to test and establish a joint R&D partnership with an overseas entity. Phase 2 (full collaboration) provides up to KRW 1.39B over 2.5 years for the substantive international R&D project. Korean SMEs must have an identified overseas R&D partner to apply. Phase 2 requires completion of Phase 1. Applications go through SMTECH and IRIS (integrated cross-ministry research system).
