The Clean Tech R&D Voucher Program sits under the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and is run by CSIT. It gives small clean-technology businesses in New Jersey in-kind access to university and government-lab equipment and to the technicians who support that work. Each company can receive up to USD 25,000 in voucher credit within any 12-month period, and the credit must be used within six months of approval. Applicants need a signed approval letter from a participating New Jersey university or government facility, and the programme is limited to for-profit businesses active in New Jersey. The cleantech scope covers energy, transportation, waste, water, and agriculture, with additional operating limits in the notes pointing to 25 or fewer full-time employees and a requirement that most project work happen in New Jersey. The route fits companies that need lab access, technical validation, or prototype support more than direct cash, and the rolling format rewards teams that already know the facility partner they will use.
