Administers Exploratory Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme to support high-risk high-gain seed grants untested interdisciplinary ideas spanning nnf's biomedical biotechnology.
Funds early-stage, untested research ideas requiring an interdisciplinary approach with high-risk/high-gain potential. Research must align with NNF's strategic focus areas — Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, and Natural and Technical Sciences — with applicability in health or sustainability. Applicants with preliminary data are redirected to the full Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme. Up to DKK 6.8M per project over up to 3 years; total annual budget DKK 68 million.
