Pairs one basic scientist with one clinical researcher who actively sees patients. Project duration fixed at 4 years. Budget split 60/40 (+/-) between main and co-applicant. Grant holders' salaries must be guaranteed by their institutions for the entire period; the grant cannot cover applicant salaries. Total pool up to DKK 52 million for up to four grants per cycle.
