CLIMIT-Demo Idea Study Scheme
Funds early-stage carbon capture concept studies in Norway to test ideas before broader demonstration submission.
The CLIMIT-Demo Idea Study Scheme (Norwegian: Idéstudieordningen) is a sub-component of CLIMIT-Demo providing small concept-study grants of up to NOK 200,000. Designed for early-stage CCS ideas before full demonstration-scale applications. Processing is continuous with no fixed deadlines. An example award was provided to SINTEF for a CO2 infrastructure concept study. Applications use the same process as CLIMIT-Demo main scheme and go through Gassnova's secretariat.
