Green Platform Initiative
Supports Norway's flagship green transition fund projects for industry-led consortia developing low-emission solutions co-funded by RCN Innovation Norway and Siva.
The Green Platform Initiative is a large-scale, jointly-funded programme co-delivered by the Research Council of Norway, Innovation Norway, and Siva, targeting transformative green transition projects in Norwegian industry. Each project receives NOK 30–80M over 24–36 months and must be led by an industry consortium with strong research involvement. The 2026 call pools NOK 644.5M total and closed 3 June 2026. The programme targets projects capable of accelerating Norway's shift to low-emission solutions across sectors including maritime, offshore, manufacturing, and agriculture. Matching funding from industry partners is required but the specific percentage is not published on the call index page.
