Innovation Projects for the Industrial Sector is RCN's main user-driven applied research programme, requiring industry leadership of consortia that include at least one research organisation partner. The programme superseded the legacy BIA, ENERGIX, PETROMAKS2, BIONÆR, and IKTPLUSS labels after RCN's 2020 restructuring; those names persist colloquially but all fund under this portfolio-board structure. Five sectoral sub-calls run in parallel with rolling deadlines in 2026: general industry and services, energy and transport, seafood, land-based bioeconomy, and agriculture/food (FFL/JA co-funded).
