NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program
Supports cash fellowship for PhD students in accelerated computing and AI.
The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program provides up to $60,000 cash per award to PhD students conducting research relevant to accelerated computing, AI, robotics, and autonomous vehicles. This is the program's twenty-fifth year. The award is an unrestricted gift paid to the student's university (not directly to the student), covering stipend, tuition, and mandatory fees. No indirect costs or overhead may be charged. The fellowship includes a mandatory in-person summer internship at an NVIDIA research office before the fellowship year begins — offices are located in the US, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, and Taiwan. Selection is run by a committee of 80+ senior NVIDIA technical staff headed by Chief Scientist Bill Dally, with a full review process taking approximately 8 weeks. International PhD students are eligible; award amounts may vary by country.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
