Five companies are selected to pitch at each of four regional semifinal events across Michigan; each founder gets 7 minutes to present plus a 5-minute judge Q&A, and the four regional winners each take home $250,000. Those four winners then advance to the statewide PitchMI Championship the following spring to compete for an additional $1 million prize.
