The National Research Program (NRP) commissions applied research and early-stage experimental development directly addressing the operational needs of Qatar's ministries and government entities. Projects run three years. Two standing mechanisms: National Research Grants (addressing national priorities set by beneficiary ministries) and Bilateral Research Grants (international collaborations in Qatar priority areas). Thematic rotating calls include Food Security (FSC), Climate Change and Environment (CCEC), Pathways Toward Prosperity (PTP), Economic Sustainability (ESC), and Precision Medicine (PPM).
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
