Offers wage support in Saudi Arabia for employers hiring new national workers and sustaining workforce growth.
Tawteen is an employer wage subsidy administered by HRDF under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. Private sector establishments hiring Saudi nationals receive 30% of the employee's monthly wage (up to SAR 3,000) for 24 months. The subsidy increases to 50% when employees are female, have disabilities, or are hired in their home city. Employers apply through the Taqat e-services portal. The programme targets healthcare, real estate, transportation, tourism, industrial, and commercial sectors. A separate sustainability bonus covers 12 months of social insurance for establishments that retain 50 or more programme employees for 24+ months.
