North Carolina's Office of Science, Technology & Innovation runs the program on behalf of the state's Board of Science, Technology & Innovation, issuing a new solicitation in most fiscal years when funding is appropriated. Approved businesses are reimbursed a portion of their proposal-preparation costs, and applications and reports are handled through the CyberGrants system.
