Driving Urban Transitions (DUT)

Funds Swedish actors joining international research and innovation projects that help cities move toward sustainable economies through the Driving Urban Transitions partnership.

Energimyndigheten (Swedish Energy Agency)SwedenGrant

Driving Urban Transitions to a sustainable future (DUT) is a European partnership program under Horizon Europe whose aim is to push city development toward a sustainable future. In Sweden, the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten), the research council Formas, and the innovation agency Vinnova jointly fund the Swedish participation. The partnership runs recurring joint calls (utlysningar) in which Swedish actors team up with partners across Europe to apply for funding. Each call sets its own budget, themes, deadlines, and project window; the partnership is the durable scheme and each joint call is one round under it. Work is organized around three thematic pillars, called Transition Pathways: Energy Positive Districts, the 15-Minute City, and Circular Urban Economies.
