Supports Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowship IPD, co-funded industry-embedded postdoc positions bridging academia and company innovation work in Swedish STEM.
The Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowship (IPD) program funds young researchers (doctorate completed ≤5 years ago) to split their time equally between a Swedish university and a company. The researcher must hold at least 50% employment at the host university and spend approximately the other half at the industry partner. Projects run 1–3 years, with a total pool of SEK 15 million per annual call and a per-project cap of SEK 1.5 million (including indirect costs). Industry co-financing is mandatory at a minimum 30% share. Research must fall within SSF's priority areas: natural sciences, technology, or medicine.
