Regional Investment Aid (Regionalt investeringsstöd)
Funds Regional Investment Aid Regionalt investeringsstöd, capital grants for businesses investing in machinery and buildings in northern and rural Sweden.
Regional Investment Aid supports businesses that have difficulty raising private finance for major investments in machinery and buildings in Sweden's assisted areas. The program targets enterprises whose markets extend beyond their own region, with particular focus on starting or expanding operations in designated assisted zones across northern and rural Sweden. Three tiers of assisted areas cover municipalities in northern counties (Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland) and selected municipalities in Gävleborg, Dalarna, Värmland, and others. Large enterprises are only eligible for new economic activities or new activities at existing workplaces. Investment must not have begun before the application is submitted.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
