Singapore Therapeutics Development Review
Funds the funds therapeutic projects covering small molecules, large molecules, cell and gene therapies, and platform technologies.
The Singapore Therapeutics Development Review (STDR) funds therapeutic R&D projects covering small molecules, large molecules, cell and gene therapies, and platform technologies. Two tracks are available: Pre-Pilot (up to S$325K, for earlier-stage proof-of-concept work including target validation and platform development) and Pilot (up to S$1M, for projects with sufficient research data and some validation or commercialization plans). The STDR Pilot is called twice a year, typically in Q1 and Q3. The most recent call was STDR 2025 (Jul), with a deadline of 28 August 2025. The Q1 and Q3 2026 cycles have not been posted as of 26 May 2026. Lead investigators must hold at least 0.7 FTE primary appointment at a Singapore publicly funded research or tertiary institution.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
