The NRF Central Gap Fund (CGF) is a rolling translational grant that bridges the gap between early-stage research and market-ready prototypes or functional processes. Projects from any area of science and engineering are eligible. Awards go up to S$2M (inclusive of 30% overheads) over up to two years; projects exceeding S$2M may be considered case-by-case with stage-gating.
