The Global Innovation Partnership Initiatives Program is DoIT's vehicle for engaging international companies with 'a forward-looking vision, strong R&D capabilities, and long-term commitment.' The program co-defines key technology directions with international partners and targets strategic, multi-year engagements. Unlike the bilateral International R&D Collaboration Program (which has country-specific pairings), this program is open to international companies from any country.
