International Innovation and R&D Collaboration Program
Funds cross-border partnerships between Taiwanese firms and international innovators through matched support.
DoIT's International Innovation and R&D Collaboration Program operates bilateral matched-funding agreements with eight partner countries: the EU (via Horizon Europe partnering), UK, Germany, France, Spain, Canada, Czech Republic, and Israel. When both parties' projects pass review in their respective countries, subsidies are granted — each government subsidizes its own side of the collaboration. The Taiwan side subsidy is disbursed in TWD by DoIT; the foreign-partner side is subsidized by its own national agency. ITRI operationally administers the program (contact: yuwentseng@itri.org.tw). Projects focus on emerging-technology co-development and must align with DoIT's 2026 priority areas. No single public deadline is published; the program operates on a rolling/continuous basis with call windows inferred from the Chinese-language portal.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
