NDF Business Angel Investment Program
Invests alongside angel investors and institutions in high-risk early-stage Taiwanese startups.
The NDF Business Angel Investment Program enables Taiwan's National Development Fund to co-invest alongside qualified angel investors, VC firms, accelerators, and incubators in high-risk early-stage startups. The program requires an angel investor or institution to lead the investment and provide mentorship; NDF then invests on a priority basis in the same startup. Startups must be registered in Taiwan (or have primary operations there), be less than three years old, and have paid-in capital or actual fundraising of no more than NT$80 million — though this cap can be waived by the investment review committee. Total NDF program budget is NT$2 billion.
