Berkeley SkyDeck Pad-13 Incubator
Connects Berkeley SkyDeck with incubator communities to provide workshops, mentorship, and launch support for early-stage teams.
Pad-13 is SkyDeck's incubator track for early-stage startups from idea through launch stage. Between 60 and 80 teams are selected per batch. Pad-13 teams pay a $500 fee OR allocate 1% equity to UC Berkeley (not to the SkyDeck Fund). There is no guaranteed investment. Pad-13 participants receive access to unreserved desk space at the SkyDeck penthouse, 50+ workshops, a dedicated Key Advisor/Mentor, resource partner perks, and investor pitch opportunities. Pad-13 is a pathway to the main Accelerator Cohort via a Pitch Competition.
