UKRI Translation: AHRC Proof of Concept

The AHRC Proof of Concept scheme (part of the UKRI Translation portfolio) provides grants of up to £150,000 to translate previously AHRC- or UKRI-funded arts and humanities projects into real-world impact. Opened 27 January 2026 with no closing date — rolling continuous assessment. Fundable activities include knowledge exchange, public engagement, commercialisation pathways (licensing, spinouts, social ventures), stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building. The scheme explicitly does not fund grant extensions, academic outputs, or resource development.
