The programme is aimed at manufacturing projects that need a clearer route to pilot, demonstration, or industrial-scale investment. The grant range is £150,000 to £750,000. Large organisations can claim up to 50% of eligible costs and SMEs up to 60%. The route is for single applicants, although substantial subcontracts are permitted, and projects run for up to 9 months from a minimum TRL 5 and MRL 4 starting point.
