The fellow must be hosted at a UK university, medical school, hospital or research institution able to provide space and support for a research group, with the sole lead applicant demonstrating independent leadership. Funding is typically up to £1m over 6 years (or part-time equivalent), reviewed twice a year starting with an outline stage.
