OCC Launch
Offers pre-seed support at the University of Edinburgh for university-connected companies through investment partnerships.
OCC Launch is the pre-seed investment arm of Old College Capital, the University of Edinburgh's venture fund. It invests up to £100k in companies with a meaningful association to the University of Edinburgh — founders who are staff, students, or spinouts of the University. Investment is typically via OCC's standard Advanced Subscription Agreement (ASA), which converts into equity at a future priced round. Companies must demonstrate a specific work package, co-investment leverage opportunity, or a value inflexion point that will enable a full Seed round.
