OCC Ventures is the seed-to-Series A investment arm of Old College Capital, the University of Edinburgh's venture fund. It makes 5–10 new investments per year, with a first investment ranging from £150k to £350k. OCC Ventures follows a co-investment model, typically participating at 10–30% of the round alongside a lead investor. Companies must have an appropriate association to the University of Edinburgh, a lead investment partner in place, and a detailed business plan. It does not charge arrangement, research, or ongoing monitoring fees.
