Inspire Fund is a 300,000-pound GMCA-backed programme for freelancers and small organisations working in music and the arts across Greater Manchester. It is administered by Salford CVS on GMCA's behalf, which makes it a routed delivery model rather than a direct GMCA grant desk. Individual grants run from 500 to 2,000 pounds. The fund is aimed at independent artists, musicians, and small creative arts organisations, with categories for creative organisations, independent organisations, and freelancers. It also covers photography, literature, heritage, and visual arts, and three rounds have already run. The fit is narrow and practical: people who have stayed active in the arts and need a small amount of support to keep moving. The fund was created after Covid-19 pressure pushed many freelance artists out of the sector, so applicants that show ongoing creative practice and local connection are the cleanest match. Future rounds are expected, but no schedule has been announced.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
