DRIVE35 Scale-up Fund
Supports zero-emission vehicle scale-up in the United Kingdom through non-dilutive grants for manufacturing innovation.
DRIVE35 is the £150M successor to Innovate UK's Driving the Electric Revolution (DER) initiative, focused on scale-up manufacturing of zero emission vehicle (ZEV) technologies. The fund opened on 17 September 2025 with no stated closing date — applications are accepted on a rolling basis. UK-registered organisations can apply for grants to create scale-up manufacturing facilities for ZEV technologies. Both individual applicants and collaborative projects are eligible. Non-UK entities may participate but must establish a UK-registered entity before grant disbursement. The programme is co-funded by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC).
